My past and current teaching experience was at Prana Yoga Miami studio teaching restorative yoga and Hatha yoga - mixed population.
I taught at my work place restorative yoga to a corporate population.
I also teach at local apartment buildings - mixed population.

Stress Management Teacher Training, Yoga for Arthritis Teacher Training, Raja Yoga Teacher Training. Currently enrolled in Ayurveda course.

I would love to teach children and I have some puppeteering and story telling experience that may be helpful.

Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga which supports the physical life as a holistic care system that uses herbal, dietary and life style recommendations to generate health.

Please describe your studies and understanding of yoga philosophy.

I recently completed the Raja Yoga Teacher Training with Swami Karunananda. Personally I find yoga philosophy to be a practical manual on how to live a peaceful and healthy life. I feel this manual should be referenced daily in order to deepen its teachings.

What are your expectations as a student? What do you hope to gain, learn, or work on?

I hope to deepen my own practice and knowledge in order to serve others.

Why do you want to enroll in Integral Yoga Therapy Certification (IYTh)?

I love yoga, want to learn and share these teachings with whomever would need my services.

How do you intend to use yoga therapy in your practice, both personally and professionally?

I intend to incorporate the teachings in my personal practice and once I've developed that personal relationship with the teachings I will be available to serve others.

Given your current or future commitments, how will you create the time and space to achieve your goals for the IYTh program and fulfill all of the training requirements?

One of the things I have learned in the teachings is to let go of commitments that do not align with my life goals, by doing this I have created the space and time required in order to dedicate my time to my studies.

List any interesting things you would like to share about yourself

I love to learn and throughout my life, aside from yoga, I have learned and practiced gymnastics, flamenco, acting, puppeteering, kung fu and roller derby. Prior to my paralegal career, I worked in a hospital in the emergency room where I faced many people dealing with challenging experiences.

None, taking these courses is a main priority.
